Pumanaw ang Santo Papa ngayong Easter Monday sa edad na 88 sa kanyang tahanan sa Vatican. Pinamunuan ni Pope Francis ang Simbahang Katoliko sa loob ng 12 taon.

Dalangin po namin ang kapayapaan ng kanyang kaluluwa at maalwang paglalakbay tungo sa tahanan ng Diyos.

Black Saturday commemorates the day Jesus was laid in the tomb, a time of waiting and anticipation for his resurrection. It's a somber day, reflecting on Jesus' death and the disciples' experience of despair.

Black Saturday is “the interlude between the pain of the death of Jesus and the joy of His resurrection.” It is a day without liturgical celebration, when the Church falls silent, and the faithful are called to meditate on Christ's burial and what it means for our own lives.
