"Charm is deceptive and beauty is fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

More money, more resources, more opportunities, more of everything.

But the Bible shows us something different. God’s provision is not measured by excess but by sufficiency.

Think about the story of the Israelites in the wilderness. Araw-araw silang binibigyan ng Diyos ng manna from heaven. Pero may interesting instruction si God: collect only what you need for the day.

Why? Because God was teaching them something deeper than just survival. He was teaching them to trust His daily provision. Minsan gusto natin ng assurance for the next five years, ten years, or even the rest of our life.

Bread for today. Strength for today. Wisdom for today. And honestly, doon tayo nahihirapan. We think: “Lord, bakit hindi sobra? Bakit hindi mas marami?” But God knows something we often forget: excess doesn’t always build faith, dependence does.

Kapag sobra kasi, madaling makalimot. We start relying on what we have instead of who God is. But when we experience God's sufficiency, we are constantly reminded: “Hindi ko kaya mag-isa. I need God.”

But the heart of provision is not about how much — it’s about whether God sustains you. And most of the time, He does it quietly.

Through unexpected help. Through strength you didn’t know you had. Through doors that open at the right time. Through people God sends in your life. Kapag binalikan mo ang mga seasons ng buhay mo, mapapansin mo: there were moments na feeling mo kulang na kulang.

Pero somehow, nakaraos ka pa rin. Hindi sobra. Pero sapat. That’s the beauty of God’s provision. Because when God provides, He is not just meeting your needs, He is shaping your trust.

So if today you feel like what you have is “just enough,” don’t mistake that for God’s absence. Sometimes the most powerful evidence of God’s faithfulness is this: You had just enough… and it carried you through.

Every wound that taught you to fear love, fear people and fear vulnerability is being healed by the presence of God. The walls built out of survival are coming down gently. You will not live in constant defense anymore. God is restoring your ability to trust, to breathe and to feel safe again.
