CALL FOR APPLICATIONS: ARAL TUTORS EXTERNAL TO DEPED

Bagumbayan National High School is looking for dedicated and competent individuals to serve as External ARAL Tutors for our upcoming Summer Remediation Program. Be part of a transformative initiative to help learners master essential competencies in Reading, English, and Mathematics.

📝 FUNCTIONS AND NATURE OF ENGAGEMENT
🟡Functions: Tutors are expected to deliver structured, developmentally appropriate tutorial sessions; contextualize lesson plans using ARAL resources; track and update learner progress; coordinate with teacher-advisers; and submit accomplishment reports.
🟡Nature of Engagement: External tutors shall be engaged under a Job Order status for the duration of the summer remediation period. They will work under the direct supervision of the School Head.
🟡Tutorial Schedule: May 6 to June 2, 2026. Intensive in-person instruction from Monday to Thursday. Home Learning for Friday.

📝 CORRESPONDING INCENTIVES
✅Remuneration:
Tutors will receive payment based on the Prime Hourly Teaching Rate (PHTR) of a Teacher I position, computed according to actual teaching hours rendered.
✅Experience Credits:
Issuance of a Certificate of Engagement, which may be considered as relevant teaching experience when applying for a teaching plantilla position in DepEd.

🎓 QUALIFICATIONS OF EXTERNAL ARAL TUTORS
Applicants must meet the following minimum qualifications:
📍EDUCATION: Any of the following:
- LET-eligible in the locality, such as but not limited to teachers from private schools, SUCs/LUCs, and other teaching practitioners in the community
- Retired professional teachers
- Para-teachers who possess relevant experience and competency to provide academic support to learners
- Non-licensed education graduates
- Pre-service teachers
- Other licensed professionals
- Other individuals in the community deemed qualified, competent, and of good character.

📍COMPETENCY: Must demonstrate teaching competency in the specific area and proficiency in various teaching methods.

📍CHARACTER: Must be of good moral character with no record of criminal offenses or behavior that raises questions regarding suitability to work with children.

📍TRAINING: Willingness to undergo mandatory specialization training provided or recognized by DepEd.

⚖️ SELECTION CRITERIA
Qualified applicants will be evaluated based on the following:
1. Document Review: Assessment of academic credentials, LET/PBET eligibility, relevant training, and previous experience in tutoring or remedial instruction.
2. Interview: An evaluation focused on assessing potential, traits, and overall fitness for the job function.

2. Personal Data Sheet (PDS) (CS Form No. 212, Revised 2025).
3. Photocopy of LET Eligibility/Rating/License/ID (for licensed professionals).
4. Photocopy of Scholastic/Academic Records (Transcript of Records).
5. Photocopy of Certificates of Relevant Training, if available.
