Division Roll-Out on “Strengthening Resilience: PlanSmart for Safe Schools (PSSS)” Web Application
The Schools Division Office of Mabalacat City successfully conducted the Division Roll-Out of the Strengthening Resilience: PlanSmart for Safe Schools (PSSS) Web Application on May 19–21, 2026, at the Gabaldon Hall, Mabalacat Elementary School. The activity gathered school heads, DRRM coordinators, and key personnel from public elementary and secondary schools to strengthen capacities in risk-informed planning and disaster resilience.
Participants were oriented on the features and functionalities of the PSSS Web Application and engaged in hands-on sessions covering school profiling, hazard and exposure assessment, disaster and restoration history documentation, stakeholder mapping, critical
facilities inventory, and action planning.
The training also emphasized the importance of evidence-based School Contingency Plans and the integration of disaster risk reduction and climate change adaptation measures into school planning processes.
Through collaborative learning and practical application, participants enhanced their skills in utilizing digital tools to support data-driven decision-making, preparedness planning, and resilience-building initiatives. The activity reinforces the commitment of the Department of Education and the Schools Division Office of Mabalacat City to creating safer, more resilient, and disaster-ready learning environments for all learners and education stakeholders.

Celebrating Success: ARAL Summer Program Culminating Activity 2026
The ARAL Summer Program officially concluded on June 02, 2026, with a meaningful Culminating Activity across schools in the division that celebrated the hard work, dedication, and achievements of SDO Mabalacat City’s learners, tutors, and school heads.
DMC would like to extend its heartfelt gratitude to all parents, stakeholders, and school personnel for their unwavering support.

DMC convenes in regular ManCom meeting
Division top management, unit heads, select division personnel and school heads met at the Gabaldon Hall of Mabalacat Elementary School on June 3, 2026 to hold a regular Division Management Committee session.
Division officials reviewed ongoing programs and shared updates including progress, issues, and needed support for the implementation of Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela, upcoming Senior High School teachers’ training, the recomposition of school Bids and Awards Committee, and other central and regional office updates.
The meeting ended with clear task assignments, while the concerns raised were addressed, with everyone encouraged to work together and stay focused on division goals.
