Yesterday marked a meaningful milestone for our district as we successfully conducted the Stakeholders’ Convergence on the School-Based Feeding Program – Central Kitchen. The gathering brought together dedicated individuals and partners who share one goal: to ensure that every learner is nourished, healthy, and ready to learn.

We are deeply grateful for the presence and support of Hon. Joanna Claire Daquipil, representing the Municipal Mayor, along with our committed barangay captains, barangay councilors from the committees on education and health, SK chairpersons, PTAF President, PTA Presidents, SGC Presidents, and other valued stakeholders. Your active participation reflects a united community that truly cares for its children.

This convergence is more than just a meeting—it is a shared commitment to collaboration, sustainability, and service. Together, we strengthen our efforts in delivering a responsive and effective feeding program through the Central Kitchen initiative.

Today, schools across Pres. Roxas South District actively participated in the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, with both elementary and secondary schools joining the activity.

Learners, teachers, and school personnel practiced the proper safety procedures—Duck, Cover, and Hold—to strengthen preparedness in times of emergencies.

This activity reminds us that preparedness is everyone’s responsibility. Through regular drills like this, our schools continue to build a culture of safety, awareness, and readiness to protect every learner and member of the school community.

Thank you to all schools, teachers, and learners for their active participation and cooperation in making today’s drill successful. Together, we continue to promote safer and more prepared schools.

With heavy hearts, the President Roxas South District family mourns the untimely passing of Sir Clint Jay P. Loquinio of Lomonay IS. His sudden departure leaves a deep void in the hearts of those who had the privilege of working with him and knowing him as a dedicated educator and a kind soul.

Sir Clint Jay will always be remembered for his passion for teaching, his warm smile, and his commitment to shaping the lives of his learners. His presence in the school and in our district will truly be missed.

In this time of sorrow, the entire President Roxas South District extends our heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences to the bereaved family. May you find comfort in the love and prayers of the community he served with dedication.

We join you in prayer that Sir Clint Jay’s soul may rest in eternal peace.

Today marks another meaningful milestone for the learners of Pres. Roxas South District as we successfully conducted the District Supreme Elementary Learner Government (SELG) Election of Officers for SY 2026–2027.

The activity was more than just casting votes—it was a celebration of young leadership, responsibility, and the power of student voice. Seeing our learners confidently step forward to lead reminds us that the future of our schools and communities is in capable hands.

We also take this opportunity to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our dedicated SELG Advisers, who were awarded Certificates of Recognition for their unwavering commitment, guidance, and support to our young leaders. Behind every empowered learner is a mentor who believes in their potential.
