This seminar aims to provide updated knowledge and best practices in hog production, disease prevention, sustainable farming methods, and to unite all hog raisers.

All hog raisers in the mentioned area and other locations in Palawan, especially in the southern part, are encouraged to attend and participate in this important event.

Re: Hogs Live Weight Floor Price of 210

The Palawan Hog Raisers Association (PHRA) welcomes with great optimism the Department of Agriculture's (DA) decision to establish a floor price for hogs. This announcement brings hope for much-needed stability to our local livestock sector.

While we celebrate this positive development, the PHRA recognizes that the true value of this policy lies in its effective and rigorous implementation.

We urge the DA to swiftly put in place the necessary operational steps and monitoring mechanisms to ensure the floor price is fully enforced across all markets in Palawan. The PHRA stands ready to collaborate and assist in the successful ex*****on of these vital measures for the benefit of every hog raiser in Palawan

Dear All Hog Raisers,

As Typhoon Tino approaches, we urge all hog raisers to take the necessary precautions to keep yourselves, your families, and your livestock safe. Please do the following:

🐖 Secure your hog pens and shelters. Reinforce roofs, walls, and enclosures to prevent damage from strong winds and heavy rain.
💧 Ensure proper drainage around your pens to avoid flooding and contamination.
🥕 Store enough feed and clean water for your animals in case of power outages or supply disruptions.
⚡ Disconnect electrical equipment near flooded areas to prevent accidents.
📞 Stay updated with local authorities and weather advisories for evacuation orders or emergency assistance.

Your safety and the welfare of your animals are our top priorities. Let’s work together to stay safe and help one another during this typhoon.
