⁉️ Is it allowed for OFWs to apply for Life Insurance Policies while outside the Philippines?? **⁉️

This is under the Philippine law.
1. What if nag sign ka policy outside Philippines Soil? 🇵🇭
Answer: May question sa validity ng contract na pinirmahan mo because Insurance license in PH is jurisdiction based. Meaning it is only valid in PH.
2. Pano malalaman ng Insurance Company na wala ka sa Pinas nung pumirma ka ng contrata?
Answer: Lahat po ng lumalabas ng bansa ay naka record sa Agency mo at sa POEA. Or thru investigation before giving claims.
3. Pano po kung kumuha ako at ito’y na approve ng Insurance Company kahit nasa foreign soil ako?
Answer: Pagdating sa claims baka dun ka mahirapan, dahil mag-iinvestigate ang Insurance Company bago nila ibibigay ang claims mo at kapag nalaman na may mali sa attestations mo. For example, place of signing, maaring ma consider na Null and Void na ang contract of insurance mo.
4. Ano po ang maaaring gawin kung gustong gusto ko talaga kumuha ng policy pero matagal pa bago ako makauwi ng Pinas?
Answer: Pwede naman po ikuha muna ang mga mahal natin sa buhay (For example: Asawa, Anak o Magulang) para protektado na sila. Saka nalang kumuha ng pang sariling plan or coverage pag nakauwi na ng Pinas.
