Humina na at naging Low Pressure Area ang dating bagyong Wilma ngayong umaga. Huling nakita ang sentro nito malapit sa Cataingan, Masbate. Kumikilos ito pa-kanluran sa bilis na 15 km/h at may central pressure na 1008 hPa.
Wala nang nakataas na Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal sa buong bansa, kabilang ang Romblon.
Bagamaโt humina na, patuloy pa ring makakaapekto ang LPA at ang shear line sa ating lalawigan. Asahan ang madalas na maulap na kalangitan na may kalat-kalat hanggang tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan. Manatiling maingat, lalo na sa mga lugar na madaling bahain o gumuho ang lupa.
Malalakas na bugso ng hangin ang inaasahan dahil sa Northeast Monsoon o Amihan. Mas ramdam ang hangin sa mga baybayin at mataaas na bahagi ng Romblon ngayong araw at sa mga susunod pang araw.
Sa kondisyon ng dagat, bagamaโt wala sa direktang apektadong seaboards, inaasahan pa rin ang moderate to rough seas sa paligid ng Romblon, na maaaring umabot hanggang 2 metro ang taas ng alon. The center of Tropical Depression VERBENA was estimated based on all available data including those from Iloilo Doppler Weather Radar over the coastal waters of Pinamungahan, Cebu (10.3ยฐN, 123.5ยฐE).
Intensity:
Maximum sustained winds of 55 km/h near the center, gustiness of up to 90 km/h, and central pressure of 998 hPa.
Present Movement:
Northwestward at 25 km/h

Severe Winds
The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction.
โข Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1.
Furthermore, the surge of Northeast Monsoon and VERBENA will also bring gusty conditions reaching strong to gale-force strength over the following areas not under Wind Signal (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
โข Today: Luzon, Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Zamboanga del Norte

โข Sea travel is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels. All mariners must remain in port or, if underway, seek shelter or safe harbor as soon as possible until winds and waves subside.
Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
โข Up to 4.0 m: The seaboards of Isabela, Aurora, northern mainland Quezon, Camarines Norte, and Kalayaan Islands; the northern seaboard of Camarines Sur; the eastern seaboards of Albay, Sorsogon, Eastern Samar, and Dinagat Islands; the northern and eastern seaboards of Polillo Islands, Catanduanes, Northern Samar, and Siargao-Bucas Grande Islands.

TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
โข It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall and severe winds may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to โOther Hazards affecting Land Areasโ for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
โข At 2:40 AM today, VERBENA made landfall over Talisay, Cebu. On the track forecast, VERBENA will continue moving west northwestward across Visayas and the northern portion of Palawan today before emerging over the West Philippine Sea by tomorrow (26 November) morning. It will then turn westward and pass north of Kalayaan Islands and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday (27 November) morning.
โข VERBENA will likely cross Visayas as a tropical depression. It may reach tropical storm category either before reaching northern Palawan or once over the West Philippine Sea. VERBENA may peak at severe tropical storm category while in the middle of the West Philippine Sea north of Kalayaan Islands.
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. For heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm/rainfall advisories, and other severe weather information specific to your area, please monitor products issued by your local PAGASA Regional Services Division.

โฃ Severe Winds
The wind signals warn the public of the general wind threat over an area due to the tropical cyclone. Local winds may be slightly stronger/enhanced in coastal and upland/mountainous areas exposed to winds. Winds are less strong in areas sheltered from the prevailing wind direction.
โข Minimal to minor impacts from strong winds are possible within any of the areas under Wind Signal No. 1.
Furthermore, the surge of Northeast Monsoon and VERBENA will also bring gusty conditions reaching strong to gale-force strength over the following areas not under Wind Signal (especially in coastal and upland areas exposed to winds):
โข Today: Luzon, Visayas, Surigao del Sur Misamis Oriental, Misamis Occidental, and Zamboanga del Norte
โข Tomorrow (25 November): Luzon, Visayas, Dinagat Islands, Surigao del Norte, Agusan del Norte, Surigao del Sur, Davao Oriental, Misamis Oriental, Lanao del Norte, Misamis Occidental, and Zamboanga del Norte
โข Wednesday (26 November): Luzon, Western Visayas, and Northern Samar

24-Hour Sea Condition Outlook
Up to very rough seas over the following coastal waters:
โข Up to 4.5 m: The seaboard of Batanes.
โข Sea travel is risky for all types or tonnage of vessels. All mariners must remain in port or, if underway, seek shelter or safe harbor as soon as possible until winds and waves subside.
Up to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
โข Up to 4.0 m: The seaboards of Ilocos Norte and Ilocos Sur, the western seaboard of Pangasinan
โข Up to 3.5 m: The seaboards of Aurora, northern mainland Quezon, Camarines Norte and Kalayaan Islands; the northern and eastern seaboards of Polillo Islands, Catanduanes, Northern Samar, and Siargao-Bucas Grande Islands; the northern seaboard of Camarines Sur; the eastern seaboards of Albay, Sorsogon, Eastern Samar, and Dinagat Islands; the remaining seaboards of Ilocos Region and Cagayan Valley.
โข Up to 3.0 m: The seaboards of northern Palawan including Calamian and Cuyo Islands, Zambales and Surigao del Sur.
โข Mariners of small seacrafts, including all types of motorbancas, are advised not to venture out to sea under these conditions, especially if inexperienced of operating ill-equipped vessels.
Up to moderate to rough seas over the following coastal waters:
โข Up to 2.5 m: The seaboards of Romblon, Western Visayas, Negros Occidental, Bantayan Islands, and Davao Occidental; the western and southern seaboards of Occidental Mindoro and Oriental Mindoro; the eastern seaboard of Davao Oriental; the remaining seaboards of Quezon, Bicol Region, and Northern Samar
โข Up to 2.0 m: The seaboards of Lubang Island and Cagayancillo Islands; the western seaboards of Bataan, Batangas, and the rest of Palawan; the remaining seaboards of Visayas and Caraga Region
โข Mariners of motorbancas and similarly sized vessels are advised to take precautionary measures while venturing out to sea and, if possible, avoid navigation under these conditions.
TRACK AND INTENSITY OUTLOOK
โข It must be emphasized that heavy rainfall, severe winds, and storm surge may still be experienced in localities outside the landfall point and the forecast confidence cone. Refer to โOther Hazards affecting Land Areasโ for more details. Furthermore, the track may still shift within the limit of the forecast confidence cone.
โข On the track forecast, VERBENA will move generally west northwestward throughout its passage across the central portion of the country between today and tomorrow (25 November). It is forecast to make landfall over Caraga Region this afternoon. Afterwards, it will accelerate across Visayas and the northern portion of Palawan between tonight and tomorrow evening before emerging over the West Philippine Sea on Wednesday (26 November) morning. It will then turn westward and pass north of Kalayaan Islands and exit the Philippine Area of Responsibility on Thursday (27 November).
โข VERBENA may slightly intensify prior to landfall but will likely cross Visayas as a tropical depression. It may reach tropical storm category either before reaching northern Palawan or once over the West Philippine Sea. VERBENA may peak at severe tropical storm category in the middle of the West Philippine Sea.
Considering these developments, the public and disaster risk reduction and management offices concerned are advised to take all necessary measures to protect life and property. Persons living in areas identified to be highly or very highly susceptible to these hazards are advised to follow evacuation and other instructions from local officials. For heavy rainfall warnings, thunderstorm/rainfall advisories, and other severe weather information specific to your area, please monitor products issued by your local PAGASA Regional Services Division.
