What's in store for 2026?👀 We just started planning it out!

Earlier this evening FCCY Capiz planned our new and exciting activities, including our CNY Party and our CNY Booth with ideas like a photobooth and doodle station. We also confirmed members for the Youth Seminar in Iloilo and the Youth Conference in Cebu, discussed our membership fund, and drafted plans to recruit new members. We are excited for a year of faith, fellowship, and projects! 🥳🎊

Welcoming the Jubilee Cross | December 12, 2025

Last December 12, we were blessed to attend the Jubilee Cross at the Shrine of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel. Thank you to all who joined for the reception, Mass, confessions, and the Taizé prayer vigil.

As the Cross moves onward to the Cathedral, we carry its spiritual significance with us.

𝐃𝐄𝐂𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟖 - 𝐅𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐈𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧

The Immaculate Conception—one of the four Marian dogmas of the Catholic Church—teaches that Mary was conceived without original sin. Celebrated as a holy day of obligation since 1708, this feast holds special significance for Filipinos, as Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception is the principal patroness of the Philippines.

Pope Francis reminds us that Mary’s pure beauty draws us toward grace: “Let us entrust ourselves to her and say ‘no’ to sin and ‘yes’ to grace once and for all.” He emphasizes that our journey of conversion begins with seeking God’s mercy in the Sacrament of Reconciliation, and continues as we strive to repair the harm we have caused—walking the path toward becoming “holy and immaculate” in our own lives.

O Mary conceived without sin, pray for us who have recourse to thee!

FCCY Capiz joined the faithful of the Archdiocese of Capiz for the Trillion-Peso Prayer Rally on November 30 at the Roxas City Bandstand. In solidarity with the community, we gathered to offer prayers for our nation, calling for true accountability and righteous governance. The event was a show of unity, with the praying of the Holy Rosary, a celebration of Mass, and a candle lighting ceremony, all on the themes of justice and moral leadership.

We believe in the power of prayer and peaceful actions to have positive change. This rally reinforced our mission to advocate for a society in service and integrity, rather than exploitation. FCCY Capiz remains committed to standing for faith, hope, and a better future for all Filipinos.

FCCY Capiz participates in the Archdiocesan celebration of the Solemnity of Christ the King

The event began with a High Mass presided over by the Archbishop of Capiz, culminating in the placing of the Consecrated Host into the monstrance. Following the Mass, we joined the procession. Together with all the organizations, congregations, clergy, lay ministers, lectors, and parishioners, we walked in prayer behind the Blessed Sacrament towards the Cathedral.

The celebration continued inside with the Enthronement, an Act of Consecration, and the Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament. It was a day of unity and devotion, which we concluded with a shared dinner among our members.

We are blessed to have been part of this powerful testament to our faith. To Jesus Christ, our King, we offer all praise and glory.

This event also marks our 1 year anniversary for FCCY Capiz! One year of faith and fellowship. Cheers to our growing community!

𝐍𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐌𝐁𝐄𝐑 𝟐𝟑 - 𝐒𝐨𝐥𝐞𝐦𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐡𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐠

On this last Sunday of the liturgical year, the Holy Church celebrates the Solemnity of Our Lord Jesus Christ, King of the Universe.

This feast was first instituted by Pope Pius XI in 1925 by the end of World War I to respond to the growing secularism and atheism at that time. It reminds us that human governments are temporary but Christ reigns as King forever. Pope Pius XI, citing Pope Leo XIII’s Annum Sacrum, teaches that Christ’s reign extends to all humanity—not only Catholics or the baptized, but even those outside the Christian faith. He adds that this applies to individuals, families, and nations alike, for all are under Christ’s authority. In Christ lies the salvation of every person and of society as a whole.

The Solemnity of Christ the King calls us to let Christ reign in our hearts, homes, and nation. Today, as our country faces worsening corruption in the government, we are challenged to reject selfishness and any leadership rooted in coercion or deceit. Christ-like leadership is marked by love, justice, and service to the common good. His reign brings peace and integrity where division and dishonesty prevail.

FCCY Capiz concludes the Month of the Holy Rosary with grateful hearts.

From October 7 to 31, we held our nightly Zoom rosary, and we are blessed to announce our ‘Attendance Ranking’. Your unwavering devotion and participation have made this journey of faith truly powerful.

We culminated this sacred month with a special Living Rosary activity at Mt. Carmel Parish, in collaboration with their youth ministry. Through heartfelt plays presented between each Sorrowful Mystery, we walked with Our Lady in prayer and reflection.

Thank you to every person who joined us online and in person. This display of faith strengthens our community and our commitment to answer Our Mother’s call.
