Raw vegan food is perfect during the summer season as they are mostly cooling to the body. Just remember to eat moisture rich food if consuming a lot of dehydrated living foods.

Last January, I spent a week at Asha Peri 's organic farm at Calaca Batangas. It was a week of discovering & learning about food from different perspectives - from a historical and cultural point of view, to the obvious nutritional aspect with the addition of breaking myths of what is deemed healthy & food that is demonized (carbs, legumes, root crops) as well as looking into food consumption best for one's constituency based on traditional medicine and ayurvedic principles, and finally food in a economic and political perspective, in terms of goverment policies & funding and how our purchasing habits dictate what food growers and providers bring to the marketplace.

It was an intense week of lectures, in-depth discussions, mindful eating and movement, connecting with the soil and building relationships with individuals who are on the same path of awareness and curiosity into living a plant-based lifestyle that considers food as more than just nourishment and pleasure.

It's been a while since I updated LC's page. Didn't realise I was just sharing photos on Instagram and my personal FB account.

I intend to be back working on my raw vegan projects/assignments and perhaps take on some orders of vegan food during this Lenten season. Send over a message in case you'd like to order meals again but please give me a week's lead time so I can properly think things through.
