We are thrilled to announce another successful batch of students for the Student Internship Abroad Program at Sheraton Hong Kong! The fourth-year BS in Tourism Management students from the College of Management and Governance have been successfully endorsed to Sheraton Hotel Hong Kong, thanks to the unwavering support of the International Affairs Unit of the University of Antique.

The graduating students of the College of Management and Governance successfully participated in the LEGS & PEOS and Career Sessions as part of their internship requirements prior to deployment to the industry. Held on January 13, 2026, this comprehensive activity is a vital component in preparing students for their transition from academic life to the professional world.
Organized by the Career and Job Placement Services Unit of the University of Antique, this event aims to equip students with essential knowledge, skills, and confidence to effectively face real-world employment challenges.
The seminar featured Mr. Benjie Requintina, Labor Employment Officer III, Province of Antique; Mrs. Myra Pe, Peso Manager, Province of Antique; along with Mr. Risty Clent Aquito, Dr. Shella Delgado and Mrs, Saredith Sola as distinguished Resource Speakers.

Virtual Monitoring and Kumustahan with Interns in Hong Kong.
We regularly conduct virtual meetings and kumustahan sessions with our interns in Hong Kong as a key part of our commitment to their development and well-being. These sessions serve as an opportunity to monitor their progress, provide updates on their performance, and address any concerns they may have within the hotel environment.
We are dedicated to their growth and development, and we will be scheduling additional sessions for upcoming batches to continue providing guidance, support, and updates throughout their internship journey.

After completing their initial preparations, the student interns were officially endorsed and assigned to their respective hotels in Hong Kong. This marks the beginning of an intensive and comprehensive five-month training program, in which they will gain valuable hands-on experience, develop their professional skills, and deepen their understanding of the hospitality industry. The internship represents a significant milestone in their careers, providing them with the opportunity to apply their academic knowledge in real-world settings and to learn from experienced industry professionals.
