Just a quick progress pic of a tamahagane knife I’ve been working on. The funny thing about this knife is the steel banding is so wild that it looks like micro scratches. I’ve tried many stones for the jito step, but still ended up using my Uchigumori Jito.

I still have to address the low spot that would erase the kanji if I tackle it. Not sure how I’m gonna do that. lol

Sooo.. What are B-Grade stones?

These stones have a lot of inclusions and possibly toxic(releases random particles that scratches the steel). I would test these stones, but there are no guarantees. Thus selling these stones at a discount.
