In line with the aftermath of the June 8, 2026 earthquake in the Province of Sultan Kudarat, and to ensure the safety and welfare of students, teachers, and school personnel, face-to-face classes in all levels are hereby suspended until June 14, 2026.

WHAT THIS MEANS?

[No in-person classes]
All levels (basic education, higher education, TESDA) are covered.

[Shift to online / alternative learning]
Schools are directed to implement:

• Online classes
• Modular learning or other alternative delivery modes

MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT
Schools are also encouraged to conduct:

• Psychosocial support activities
• Online counseling / wellness check-ins
• Stress debriefing sessions

This is to help students and staff cope with stress and emotional effects brought by the earthquake.

SAFETY OF SCHOOLS

All school buildings will undergo mandatory structural safety inspection.

• No face-to-face classes will resume unless buildings are declared structurally safe.
• Schools with clearance may allow limited face-to-face activities for essential academic work only.

REMINDER

Schools will also conduct online orientations and monitoring to guide students and parents on class schedules and learning arrangements.
