UAP KALINGA CHICO RIVER AT NATCON 51 & CONEX 2026

The United Architects of the Philippines – Kalinga Chico River Chapter (UAP–KCR) proudly participated in the 51st UAP National Convention (NATCON 51) and CONEX 2026, held on April 16–19, 2026 at the SMX Convention Center, Mall of Asia Complex.

With the theme “Fluid Futures: Charting Architecture’s Path to a Regenerative, Resilient, and Intelligent Tomorrow,” and the call to go “Above and Beyond,” the convention brought together architects and industry leaders nationwide for insightful CPD talks and a dynamic construction expo (CONEX) showcasing the latest innovations in the built environment.

Prior to the convention, Ar. Franz G. Dimalanta, UAP, attended the Chapter Presidents’ Assembly on April 15, representing UAP–KCR in key national discussions.

Through active participation in national gatherings like NATCON, UAP–KCR continues to strengthen its commitment to professional growth, collaboration, and architectural excellence.

UAP KCR FIRST EVER ALL-ZOOM GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING

The United Architects of the Philippines – Kalinga Chico River Chapter (UAP KCR) successfully conducted its first-ever All-Zoom General Membership Meeting last February 17, 2026, headed by our Chapter President, Ar. Franz Dimalanta.

The meeting covered important updates on upcoming UAP events, chapter activities, and members’ status, as well as preparations for the March Chapter Elections. The President’s Report highlighted the continuous improvements and progress of the chapter, including the ongoing processing of the chapter bank account in coordination with the Chapter Treasurer.

Also presented during the meeting was Board Resolution No. 6, which outlines the allowances and entitlements of the Chapter President and authorized representatives during official UAP functions and activities.

This milestone marks another step forward for our chapter as we continue to strengthen connection, leadership, and service - even in a virtual setting.
