𝐊𝐂𝐒𝐓𝐈 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝟏𝐬𝐭 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

In observance of the quarterly Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill, KCSTI conducted an earthquake drill in cooperation with the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) Bulanao Station, Tabuk City. The drill was held in line with the mandate of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

During the drill, the BFP personnel guided the KCSTI community in practicing the proper earthquake safety procedures such as “Duck, Cover, and Hold.” The activity helped students and staff understand what to do during an earthquake and how to respond safely during emergencies. BFP personnel also demonstrated how to rescue trapped or injured individuals in high buildings.

After the drill, SFO2 Ernesto Y. Danag Jr. gave feedback on the school's preparedness, noting areas of improvements, strengths, and offering suggestions on how to better accommodate students and staff during an actual calamity.

The earthquake drill aims to strengthen awareness, preparedness, and cooperation within the campus community in case of disasters. Through activities like this, KCSTI continues to promote safety and readiness among its students and personnel.
