Greater Vision Learning Center

𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗜𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗘𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 is the 𝗼𝗻𝗹𝘆 education we prescribe to our children. The purpose of Christian schooling is the SPIRITUAL and EDUCATIONAL development of each child where they are taught that humankind is made in the image of God, not a product of evolutionary chance.

At 𝗚𝗩𝗟𝗖, the Word of God is embedded in the lessons. The curriculum is imprinted with the BIBLE. All their subjects are taught from the viewpoint of the Word of God. “𝑇𝑟𝑎𝑖𝑛 𝑢𝑝 𝑎 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑦 ℎ𝑒 𝑠ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑙𝑑 𝑔𝑜: 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 ℎ𝑒 𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑙𝑑, ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑖𝑙𝑙 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑑𝑒𝑝𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑚 𝑖𝑡.” (Proverbs 22:6) It also specifically directs fathers, who are entrusted with a special role in educating children. Paul wrote, ”𝐴𝑛𝑑, 𝑦𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟𝑠, 𝑝𝑟𝑜𝑣𝑜𝑘𝑒 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑛 𝑡𝑜 𝑤𝑟𝑎𝑡ℎ: 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑏𝑟𝑖𝑛𝑔 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑢𝑝 𝑖𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑛𝑢𝑟𝑡𝑢𝑟𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑎𝑑𝑚𝑜𝑛𝑖𝑡𝑖𝑜𝑛 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑜𝑟𝑑. (Ephesians 6:4) Moses told Israel how to teach their children in Deuteronomy 6:4-9:

“𝐻𝑒𝑎𝑟, 𝑂 𝐼𝑠𝑟𝑎𝑒𝑙: 𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝐺𝑜𝑑, 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑖𝑠 𝑜𝑛𝑒. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑙𝑜𝑣𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝐿𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝐺𝑜𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑠𝑜𝑢𝑙 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤𝑖𝑡ℎ 𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑚𝑖𝑔ℎ𝑡. 𝐴𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑠𝑒 𝑤𝑜𝑟𝑑𝑠 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝐼 𝑐𝑜𝑚𝑚𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑡𝑜𝑑𝑎𝑦 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑜𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑒𝑎𝑟𝑡. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡𝑒𝑎𝑐ℎ 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑑𝑖𝑙𝑖𝑔𝑒𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑦 𝑡𝑜 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑐ℎ𝑖𝑙𝑑𝑟𝑒𝑛, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑡𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑜𝑓 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑠𝑖𝑡 𝑖𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑤𝑎𝑙𝑘 𝑏𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑤𝑎𝑦, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑙𝑖𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑤𝑛, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑤ℎ𝑒𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢 𝑟𝑖𝑠𝑒. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑖𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑎𝑠 𝑎 𝑠𝑖𝑔𝑛 𝑜𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑎𝑛𝑑, 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑏𝑒 𝑎𝑠 𝑓𝑟𝑜𝑛𝑡𝑙𝑒𝑡𝑠 𝑏𝑒𝑡𝑤𝑒𝑒𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑒𝑦𝑒𝑠. 𝑌𝑜𝑢 𝑠ℎ𝑎𝑙𝑙 𝑤𝑟𝑖𝑡𝑒 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑚 𝑜𝑛 𝑡ℎ𝑒 𝑑𝑜𝑜𝑟𝑝𝑜𝑠𝑡𝑠 𝑜𝑓 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 ℎ𝑜𝑢𝑠𝑒 𝑎𝑛𝑑 𝑜𝑛 𝑦𝑜𝑢𝑟 𝑔𝑎𝑡𝑒𝑠.”

There may be other circumstances in our lives that make a Christian education difficult. But that doesn’t change the fundamental issue: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝘂𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝘀𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗹𝘆 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗕𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀. 𝗦𝗮𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝗶𝘁 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝗼 𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗮𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 that public school indoctrination inflicted upon kids. And since education is our lasting legacy to them, such an investment proves to be worth it.

GVLC offers an 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗙𝗮𝗶𝘁𝗵, 𝗛𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹. “…𝑎 𝑡ℎ𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑓𝑜𝑙𝑑 𝑐𝑜𝑟𝑑 𝑖𝑠 𝑛𝑜𝑡 𝑞𝑢𝑖𝑐𝑘𝑙𝑦 𝑏𝑟𝑜𝑘𝑒𝑛.” (Ecclesiastes 4:12) We lean on shared values as a core benefit. When home and school reflect the values of your faith, 𝗶𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱.

Christian parents, don’t send your precious children to these institutions to be indoctrinated by strangers. Protect them. Take them out of public schools, then make the sacrifices, and send them to a Christian school. If there was ever a time to homeschool, it is now! 🕗
