Itinanggi ni Surigao del Sur 1st District Rep. Romeo Momo, Sr. ang paratang na napunta umano sa kumpanyang konektado sa kanyang pamilya ang P1.4-bilyong halaga ng government-funded projects.

Giit ng kongresista, matagal na raw siyang nag-divest sa Surigao La Suerte Corporation at wala rin itong negosyo sa kanyang distrito.

“I strongly urge the public, lalo na ang mga kababayan ko sa unang distrito ng Surigao del Sur, that these baseless complaints are all political motivated, pakana lang po ito ng mga kalaban ko sa politika."

Inirereklamo si Momo ng plunder at graft. Handa naman daw ang kongresista na sagutin ang mga alegasyon.
