Sharing this because it’s very real in our industry.

Okay lang naman magbigay ng discount, lalo na sa friends and relatives. Pero sana hindi naman yung tipong pagod lang ang kapalit. 😅

As a makeup artist, hindi lang ito “makeup-makeup lang”—oras, pagod, skill, at effort din ang binibigay natin.

Minsan mapapaisip ka rin, bakit hindi na lang suportahan ang business mo the right way, instead na parang pahirapan ka pa?

Discount is okay—but not at the expense of your worth.

Kung lugi ka na at pagod lang ang makukuha mo, better to politely decline. 🤍

Running a service-based business comes with interesting situations especially when it involves people you know.

Would you give your services for free (or at a discounted rate) to relatives or close friends?

And what about friends of friends who use your mutual as an entry point and expect a freebie or special rate as their “connection” perk? 👀

Where do you draw the line? Do you have a clear policy, or does it depend on the relationship? Have you ever said yes and regretted it? Or said no and felt awkward after?
