Behind every Traditional Mass offered…
behind every future priest being formed…
behind every chapel built for the preservation of the Catholic Faith…
there are sacrifices that most people never see.
Many do not know this, but for years our seminary rebuilding project has struggled financially. There were long periods when the budget was nearly exhausted, when we honestly did not know how the workers would be paid or how the construction could continue another day.
Yet the work goes on — not because we are rich, but because Divine Providence continues to send generous souls.
Fr. François Chazal, Superior of the MCSPX and Rector of the Seminary, has carried this burden quietly for years. Those close to him know how often he sacrifices personally just to keep the mission alive. Sometimes, with his usual simple humor, Father says he may need to ask “Mommy” again so the workers can still receive their salaries and the seminarians can continue their formation. We smile when he says it — but behind the smile is a real sacrifice.
This mission is not supported by wealthy institutions or modern diocesan structures. It survives because ordinary Catholics, who still love Tradition, choose to help.
This video https://youtu.be/D_fMOvmlBOs was filmed in March 2024 by a French lady who visited the seminary to interview Father Chazal. It is not a recent video, but I am sharing it so people may see the hidden work, struggles, and sacrifices behind this apostolate.
Thanks be to God, much has improved since then. The seminary tower destroyed by the typhoon has now been rebuilt in concrete and steel. The Heart of Jesus Mary Seminary here in Cebu is slowly rising again.
But we are still far from finished.
There are still materials to buy, workers to support, seminarians to feed and form, and missionary works to continue. Every donation — whether large or small — truly becomes part of the mission.
Even the smallest help can place another brick in the seminary…
help continue a missionary Mass…
or assist in forming a future priest who will preserve the Traditional Catholic Faith for souls.

L’abbé Salenave défend Mgr Richard Williamson contre des accusations injustes, affirmant sa fidélité à Mgr Lefebvre, à la Tradition catholique et à la véritable mission de l’épiscopat.
⚜️In Defense of Bishop Williamson, Unjustly Slandered⚜️
Fr. Salenave — priest of the Resistance Movement(Traditional Catholic Priest):
“There you go. Hello dear friends. I am making this brief little video today. I will not be long — quite simply to defend the honor of a bishop who has been unjustly slandered.
I want to speak about Bishop Richard Williamson. Since he is now deceased, I find it particularly intolerable and unacceptable to attack a dead man who can no longer defend himself. So I take on this mission because these attacks are unjust, especially when they come from priests holding important positions.
Indeed, the event happened a few days ago during a priestly jubilee celebrated in Écône. On that occasion, a priest from the seminary, Fr. Claude Boivin, gave a sermon before the seminarians. During this sermon, he congratulated the priest being honored for his fidelity and for his 50 years of priesthood — which is of course completely normal.
This priest had been ordained fifty years ago, and in September we will also have the same ceremony for Fr. du Chalard. So there was Fr. Claude Boivin, professor at the seminary of Écône, preaching before seminarians who perhaps have read books by Bishop Williamson, who perhaps bought his works, who knew him, heard him, and understood that he was an upright bishop, a faithful bishop, a true bishop.
And yet they hear this professor say that Bishop Williamson was an unfaithful priest and bishop.
When one truly knows the fidelity of Bishop Williamson — first to Archbishop Lefebvre, to the testament of Archbishop Lefebvre, and of course to the Catholic mission of his episcopacy — such an accusation is unacceptable.
Certainly, he did not remain in the Society of Saint Pius X, precisely because he wanted to remain faithful to the testament of its founder, Archbishop Lefebvre, and faithful to his role as bishop. He was faithful to his episcopacy.
One can even say that among all the current bishops, Bishop Williamson was the one who shone most by his fidelity.
So I simply wanted to set the record straight. I hope that Fr. Claude Boivin, seminary professor, will rectify this and have the courage to do so — at least with a word, at least a small apology saying, “That is not what I meant,” or something similar.
Anyway, I do not have too many illusions on that subject, but I still wanted to defend Bishop Williamson because it is very easy to attack the dead, those who can no longer defend themselves, and from whom we have inherited many things today.
So there, I hope this priest will have enough humility to recognize that he was wrong.
Thank you very much for your attention. And I take this opportunity to invite you always to read the works of Bishop Williamson, which deal with many of the current problems, so that you may remain faithful — faithful to Tradition, faithful to the Church, faithful to the truth quite simply.
There.”

What is truly sorrowful is not the loss of a building, but the weakening of faith among some of the people entrusted to the mission. The missionary effort of our clergy (MCSPX) in the Compostela mission center in Cebu has been seriously undermined.
A Novus Ordo priest normally celebrates Mass only once a year in his own Novus Ordo chapel for the fiesta. However, some of the faithful have now allowed this priest to celebrate the new rite inside our MCSPX traditional chapel.
In doing so, they have displaced the monthly apostolic work of our traditional priest and replaced the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass offered in the traditional rite with the modern liturgical rite. What should have remained a center for the preservation of Catholic Tradition has instead been opened to compromise and confusion.
This is not merely an administrative change—it is a spiritual rupture. The faithful risk being drawn away from the clarity, reverence, and doctrinal integrity of the traditional Mass toward a liturgical practice shaped by modern sensibilities and diminished sacred discipline.
As reflected in the sermon of Fr. Chazal on May 10, 2026, this situation forms part of the ongoing crisis of faith, liturgy, and identity affecting the Church.
Yet this remains only a tactical setback.
The Catholic resistance measures victory not by buildings or permissions, but by fidelity to the Faith once delivered to the saints. Even if missions are disrupted and chapels are compromised, the traditional priesthood, the true Mass, and Catholic doctrine remain alive in those who refuse compromise.
We remain firm: fidelity to Tradition must never be traded for convenience, familiarity, or false unity. The battle continues—not against persons, but against the errors that have confused and weakened many souls.
In the end, truth does not lose its power; it tests the endurance of those who defend it.
