Consumer Rights Protection Charsadda

In compliance with the directives of the worthy Director General, Industries and Commerce and under the instructions of the Assistant Director Consumer Rights Charsadda, the Industrial Development Officer, Charsadda along with AIDO and other staff members conducted inspections at various establishments across different bazaars of Tehsil Tangi.

The inspected establishments included petrol pumps, LPG outlets, chips manufacturing units, hotels and restaurants, and general stores.

The inspections focused on verifying the expiry dates, quality, quantity, hygienic conditions, and pricing of various essential commodities with special attention given to sugar.

As a result of these inspections several violators were served notices to appear before the office of the Assistant Director, Industries/Consumer Protection Council (CPC), for further legal proceedings. These actions were carried out in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act, 1997 (amended 2017).
