Hassanabad bridge on the KKH has been swept away by a glacial outburst. Everyone is requested to take the alternate road to central Hunza which passes through Nagar valley as highlighted in the google map image.
The alternate route will take 10 minutes extra to reach the main towns of Hunza but on the bright side, it offers picturesque views of Hunza valley and Ultar peaks.
