Krumians Economics Society

The Krumian Economic Society organized an insightful session titled “Youth Empowerment and Digital Opportunities in Gilgit.”
The main objective of this event was to create awareness among students about freelancing, digital skills, and career opportunities in the IT sector.

The Guest of Honour, Mr. Tehseen Abbas, Chairman Binary Hub, delivered an engaging and informative talk. He introduced the students to the vision and initiatives of Binary Hub, discussed various IT-related courses, and highlighted digital platforms that can help young people build successful careers. He also shed light on the scholarship programs offered by Binary Hub to support talented youth.

In the concluding session, Dr. Jamal, Head of the Department of Economics, and Dr. Kifayat, Coordinator, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the guest and presented him with a token of appreciation for his valuable contribution.

The Krumians Economics Society KIU held its orientation session on oct 20 , welcoming new students to the Department of Economics.
The chief guest of the event was DR Sajjad.
Dr. Jamal Hussain, Head of the Economics Department, faculty members, and new students were also in attendance.

Key speeches were delivered Dr Sajjad , Dr. Jamal Hussain, highlighting KIU's academic excellence, departmental research, and commitment to social causes. Additionally,sir Nisar Alam gave an informative presentation for the new students, introducing them to departmental resources.

The primary goal of this session was to familiarize students with the department's resources, promote a sense of community, and encourage participation in extracurricular activities, setting the tone for a productive academic year ahead.

On 28th August , YEC Collaboration With Krumains economics society forMentoring Session. The session focused on two significant them, Surah Al-Hujurat and Digital Skills.

Students from various departments actively participated in the event. Through this session, they not only gained valuable insights into the moral and social teachings of Surah Al-Hujurat but also enhanced their awareness about the importance of digital skills in today’s academic and professional world.

The session was graced by the presence of Dr. Jamal, Head of the Department of Economics, who attended as the Guest of Honour. His encouragement and support added great value to the program.

Towards the conclusion of the session, certificates of participation were awarded to the students, recognizing their involvement and commitment.

This initiative served as a meaningful step in combining spiritual guidance with modern-day skills, thereby contributing to the holistic development of students.
