Shandur Polo Festival 2026 ended a couple of weeks ago. That is not the news for today. The news is that the people who attended the festival left so much garbage that led to death of over 20 livestock from just one village of Chitral. More cattle died from other villages of Ghizer and Chitral, after eating garbage at the Shandur.

This report by Ali Najeeb takes you to Shandur and shows you what has this place become. A place full of plastic and all kind of garbage.
