A Humble Request to the Government and Concerned Authorities

Gilgit-Baltistan is home to thousands of talented and educated youth, many of whom pursue higher education in universities across Pakistan and even abroad. Despite their qualifications, they return to find a lack of opportunities in their own homeland.
There are no proper job markets, no industries, and very limited career options — even for graduates. This forces our youth to migrate to other cities, leaving behind their homes and families.

We love Gilgit. We want to stay, work, and serve our people. But the system leaves us no choice.

I urge the government, policymakers, and private sectors to take serious steps to improve the employment landscape in GB. Please invest in job creation, support startups, open professional training centers, and create a sustainable future for the youth of this beautiful region.
The youth of GB deserve better. Let’s build a future where staying in Gilgit is not a sacrifice, but a choice.
