Alhamdulillah!
After the landmark legislation on the rights of persons with disabilities, the Rules of Business for the Disability Inclusion Act have also been officially approved on 20th November 2025 by the Gilgit-Baltistan Cabinet.

This is a proud moment for the disability movement across Pakistan. Congratulations and sincere gratitude to all leaders, activists, and organizations who have continuously advocated for inclusion and equal rights.

Another significant milestone has been achieved by the Community Based Inclusive Development (CBID) Network Pakistan, with the valuable support of its partners—especially HANDS Welfare Foundation and Sightsavers.

I am deeply grateful to HANDS and Sightsavers for their continued support and unwavering commitment to strengthening the national disability movement in Pakistan.

We also extend our heartfelt congratulations to Mr. Amjad Nadeem for his continuous dedication, leadership, and impactful contributions toward promoting inclusion and empowering persons with disabilities.

Congratulations to all stakeholders, especially the people of Gilgit-Baltistan (GB), whose active participation and collaboration have made this achievement possible.

Together, we move forward with renewed determination to ensure equality, accessibility, and inclusive development for all.
