“Brothers, not enemies — Stop the Nationality War”

From centuries of shared faith, culture, and struggle, Pakistan and Afghanistan were never destined to be locked in perpetual conflict. Yet today:
🔹 Pakistani security forces report 23 soldiers martyred in fierce border clashes along the Durand Line.
🔹 Afghan Taliban claim 58 Pakistani soldiers killed, asserting retaliatory operations.
🔹 Pakistan says it struck back, killing “200 Taliban / fighters” and retaking border posts.
🔹 Border crossings at Torkham, Chaman, and minor posts closed amid the violence.
🔹 Earlier: a blast in Kabul and southeastern Afghanistan preceded these clashes.
🔹 Also recent: 11 Pakistani paramilitary troops killed in a cross-border militant attack claimed by TTP near the Afghan frontier.

Why this is a tragedy, not a war:

These are Muslim brothers on both sides dying in tit-for-tat exchanges.

Casualty figures are contested and unverifiable; the truth is hidden behind propaganda and blame.

Historic grievances, border dispute (the Durand Line), and militant groups (e.g. TTP) have long strained relations.

But the blood of innocents, the grief of families, the instability sparked — these affect us all.

A Plea for Peace:

🕊️ We must refuse to see each other as enemies by nationality.
🕊️ Let diplomacy, not drones or artillery, guide us.
🕊️ Call for neutral mediation (e.g. by OIC, Islamic nations, United Nations) to de-escalate and enforce ceasefires.
🕊️ Insist both governments commit to joint action against non-state militants, not each other.
🕊️ Let us remember: one Ummah, one humanity — let not ego, mistrust, or geopolitics drown our shared legacy.






"بھائی، دشمن نہیں — قومیت کی جنگ ختم کرو"

صدیوں کی مشترکہ ایمان، ثقافت اور جدوجہد کے بعد، پاکستان اور افغانستان کو دائمی تنازع میں نہیں بلکہ بھائی چارے میں جینا تھا۔ مگر آج:

یہ جنگ نہیں، ایک المیہ ہے:

دونوں طرف مسلمان بھائی ایک دوسرے کے ہاتھوں مارے جا رہے ہیں۔

ہلاکتوں کے اعداد و شمار متضاد ہیں، سچ پروپیگنڈے کے پیچھے چھپ گیا ہے۔

تاریخی اختلافات، ڈیورنڈ لائن کا تنازع، اور شدت پسند گروہ (جیسے TTP) تعلقات کو کمزور کر رہے ہیں۔

مگر اصل نقصان عوام، شہداء کے خاندانوں اور خطے کے امن کو پہنچ رہا ہے۔

امن کا پیغام:

🕊️ ہمیں ایک دوسرے کو دشمن نہیں، امت کا حصہ سمجھنا ہوگا۔
🕊️ ڈرون یا گولہ باری نہیں، سفارتکاری ہی حل ہے۔
🕊️ اسلامی ممالک اور اقوامِ متحدہ کو ثالثی کرنی چاہیے تاکہ کشیدگی ختم ہو۔
🕊️ دونوں حکومتیں غیر ریاستی شدت پسندوں کے خلاف مشترکہ اقدام کریں، ایک دوسرے کے خلاف نہیں۔
🕊️ یاد رکھو: ہم ایک امت ہیں، ایک انسانیت — نہ کہ دو دشمن قومیں۔
