A giant thanks to @earthwarestudios.karachi and its Karachi based master artisanal ceramic artist Shazia Zuberi for this beautiful addition to all my meals. Everytime I use it, I end up staring at some little detail I discover in the light at that point in time. Some texture in the glaze, some unexpected colour peeking out at me from behind another layer, some subtle nuance that appears just to surprise me and sing to me during my meal. Makes me smile everytime. Who would imagine so much joy would come to me in a simple jug. Made by hand. And with much love. In a world crumbling all around us, it’s refreshing to know this can happen. And that It arrived from Karachi to Islamabad in one piece, perfectly wrapped. Which means these pieces can be shipped anywhere in the country, handled with the care they deserve by none other than TCS! Knowing that the organic juices I love so much and sweet well water I drink will go into my body after being held in this stunning piece of pottery I know will only add a wholesome value to my well being!
