Dear All, I am seeking expert advice on Magnetic Particle Testing.
We have a shaft exhibiting unexpected indications, which upon closer inspection using a mobile phone camera, reveal a clear double line visible at three positions.
My question is whether forging marks or tool marks could cause such indications, or if this is indicative of an actual crack. I appreciate your thoughts on this matter.
