UPDATE/ New Upwork changes - that are either happening, or HAVE ALREADY HAPPENED - you might have missed because they're mostly buried in the Terms of Service :

1. International wire transfer fee for all payouts: Increases to $50 from $30

2. Contract initiation fee: Increases up to $14.95 (project-dependent), from $4.95. Paid by client.

3. Boosted Projects (3 connects per boost) no longer available. Boosted Profiles remains available, with freelancers in Web Dev & similar high-demand niches reporting minimum bid required of 100+ connects (equivalent to $15.00) per CLICK.

4. Connects required to submit a proposal appears to be going dynamic. Currently, most jobs require between 10-23 connects to apply.

5. Bad feedback will no longer be removable with Top Rated Plus status.

6. Invitations to Interview sent by clients will now require spending connects to respond.

7. You can now apply to be considered for Expert Vetted status, for 300 connects ($45 equivalent).
