Panda Chronicles: A Journey of Resilience and Self-Belief

In a family where everyone had a fair complexion, Syeda Zehra Zaidi grew up with a darker skin tone, a difference that deeply impacted her self-esteem. She often felt the weight of societal beauty standards and believed success required beauty and beauty has a fair skin. She didn't let the color of her skin dictate what her story will be, so she poured herself into sharpening her mind and strengthening her abilities, committing to working harder than anyone around her.

Raised by her mother, whose unwavering support was a guiding light, Zehra learned early on the value of self-belief. Her mother’s constant encouragement was a reminder that no matter who else doubted her, she had a powerful advocate in her corner. Her mother clapped so hard that she didn't notice who else didn’t, and that love became the foundation of her resilience.

Her career began with a childhood fascination for understanding others. Dreaming of becoming a neurosurgeon at seven, life took her in a different direction and landed her at physiotherapy. She enrolled and soon discovered a passion for helping others heal—a decision that led to self-discovery.

The BPO industry was a surprising turn, initially taken for financial independence as a student, but it soon became much more. She found pride in her ability to support herself and honor her family, discovering skills she didn’t know she had. Balancing a full-time job with the final years of her DPT degree was one of her biggest challenges, but she stayed committed, knowing it was shaping her into the person she aspired to be.

Through her journey at Chat Pandas as a QA executive, she discovered a unique strength in listening and supporting others. QA sessions revealed her ability to provide constructive feedback, helping team members grow. This role gave her purpose, allowing her to use her insights to elevate those around her. With Chat Pandas’ empowering culture and the “zero micromanagement” approach, she found the trust to develop her skills further.

Today, Zehra is motivated by the idea of leaving a legacy and being someone worth remembering. Her journey is a testament to perseverance, self-worth, and the power of hard work.

Panda Chronicles: Meet Bilal Rauf Malik – A People-Centric Leader in the Making

Bilal’s journey into the professional world began shortly after completing his BBA from UCP in 2022. With a passion for Human Resources, he built a strong foundation through internships across various companies, immersing himself in the corporate world and refining his skills in people management. His natural inclination toward leadership began in university, where he served as a team leader and Class Representative (CR), allowing him to hone the qualities that now define him as a people person.

Bilal’s multitasking abilities and dedication to going above and beyond have been instrumental to his success. Whether in personal or professional life, he always strives to do his best. His eagerness to help others, combined with his love for learning, has driven him to explore every facet of the HR domain.

Bilal is deeply motivated by the challenges life throws his way, believing that overcoming obstacles strengthens both his personal and professional growth. His goal is clear—to become a leader in HR, with a particular focus on training and development. He sees this path as an opportunity to not only gain insights but also to share his knowledge, helping others grow along the way.

Outside of work, Bilal is an active participant in sports-related events and has a strong interest in current affairs. His curiosity extends beyond HR, as he spends his free time watching inspirational videos and staying informed on topics such as global innovations. Cricket is a personal passion, providing him with an outlet for relaxation and mental focus.

Bilal's experience with Chat Pandas has been transformative. From onboarding to corporate partnerships and insurance, he has been exposed to multiple areas of HR. Working at Chat Pandas has allowed Bilal to apply his skills in a real-world setting, receiving praise from his managers and colleagues alike.
