Sahabah (Companions of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH)) says that this dua should be recited as often as possible on the first day of the Islamic New Year. Please make it clear that you are free to recite it as you wish. There is no problem, but even if you recite it more than once, only good works will be added to your account
