PU upholds Supreme Court judgment.

Constitutional bench of the Supreme Court today on Pakistan Bar Council application for the time being modified portions of 2019 SC legal education judgment to allow for 4 year LLB intake and abolish SEELAW. Eligibility requirements for Heads of law departments were softened too. On my pointing out that study centres for 3 year students whose colleges has been disaffiliated were still not functional, counsel for BZU stated at the bar that steps towards making the same functional had been undertaken and the same as would be functional soon. The court adjourned the matter till after summer vacations.
