A China-based repair shop run by Brother Zhang, a well-known GPU repair specialist, shared a teardown and repair video featuring a heavily damaged Colorful RTX 3080 Ti iGame Advanced model. According to the technician, the card’s owner said his girlfriend had struck the GPU twice during an angry outburst, causing significant physical damage.

Despite the severity of the condition, the recovery proved successful. After several targeted repairs and rework steps using a donor setup, the technician was able to restore the graphics card to a fully functional state.
