GMAT



The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized test used by graduate business schools to assess the qualifications of applicants for advanced study in business and management. The GMAT is a computer-adaptive test (CAT) that measures analytical writing, integrated reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and verbal reasoning skills. It is designed to assess the skills needed to be successful in graduate-level business courses.

The GMAT test is divided into four sections:

Analytical Writing Assessment (AWA) - measures the ability to analyze an argument and write a critique of it.
Integrated Reasoning (IR) - measures the ability to analyze data presented in various formats and from various sources.
Quantitative Reasoning - measures the ability to understand, interpret and analyze quantitative information, and to solve problems using mathematical concepts.
Verbal Reasoning - measures the ability to read and comprehend written material, to reason and evaluate arguments, and to correct written material to conform to standard written English.
The GMAT is used as part of the admissions process for graduate business programs around the world, including MBA and other specialized business master's programs. The test is administered by the Graduate Management Admission Council (GMAC) and is taken at test centers around the world.
