On 18th March 2026, IBDP MSMEs participated in an online KP SME Connect Orientation Session, organized by the Women Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Peshawar, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM.

The session focused on introducing the KP SME Connect Programme, outlining its vision, objectives, and the mechanisms through which it aims to support small and medium enterprises in digital scaling and accessing wider markets.

Participation in such sessions is beneficial for enhancing the capacity of IBDP MSMEs and enabling them to explore new opportunities for business growth and market expansion.

On Tuesday, 23 December 2025, the Inclusive Business Development Park (IBDP), in collaboration with NerithonX Technologies Pvt. Ltd., conducted a capacity-building training on Digital Marketing for Small Businesses at the Conference Room, Industrial Facilitation Office, Peshawar Economic Zone (KPEZDMC), Hayatabad. The session focused on strategic digital marketing approaches, informed decision-making, and practical growth frameworks to support sustainable business development beyond platform-specific tools.

On Friday, 12th December 2025, upon the invitation of IBDP, the Director General of the Directorate of Science & Technology (DoST), accompanied by his team, visited IBDP to receive a project orientation and explore potential areas of collaboration. As part of this collaboration, IBDP and DoST will enter into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to further support graduated startups from DoST’s Flare and Catalyst programs by housing them at IBDP, where they will receive continued nurturing and resources to scale up their businesses. The two organizations will also collaborate on developing a policy framework and conducting baseline studies to assess the success and failure rates of startups and home-based businesses, define evaluation methodologies, and provide guidance on effective proposal pitching. Additionally, IBDP will share MSME details with DoST for IPO and patent registration, while DoST will provide information on the marble ash brick manufacturing business for potential onboarding at IBDP. Furthermore, DoST will facilitate the provision of a free stall for IBDP at the upcoming roadshow at FATA University, Darra Adam Khel, on 17–18 January 2025.

IBDP in-house MSMEs actively participated in the KP Hunar & Business Mela, organized at JKD University Town, Peshawar, on 13th and 14th December 2025. The inauguration ceremony was honored by the presence of distinguished guests, including Ms. Noreen Shehryar (Manager, Inclusive Business Development Park – IBDP), Mr. Kifayat Khattak (Event Coordinator, KP Culture & Tourism Authority), and Mr. Mehmood Hayat Babar (CEO, Kund Park), along with other respected guests.

The KP Hunar & Business Mela marked the launch of a Youth- and Women-led initiative comprising startups, small businesses, and a weekly bazaar, providing a vibrant platform for growth, visibility, and market access. 🚀 The initiative aims to promote women entrepreneurship, youth-led startups, local innovation, and economic empowerment, representing a significant step toward sustainable livelihoods and inclusive economic development in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Weekly Bazaar was successfully organized by IBDP in collaboration with CECOS University on Thursday, 4th December 2025 at CECOS University. 🌟
