پروونشل ڈاکٹرز ایسوسی ایشن (PDA) خیبر پختونخوا، محکمہ صحت کی جانب سے خیبر پختونخوا ہیلتھ کیئر سروس پرووائیڈرز اینڈ فیسلٹیز (تشدد اور املاک کو نقصان سے تحفظ) ایکٹ 2020 کے تحت قواعد و ضوابط کی تشکیل کے عمل کا خیر مقدم کرتی ہے۔

یہ ایک نہایت اہم اور دیرینہ مطالبہ تھا، جو اب عملی شکل اختیار کر رہا ہے۔ اس اقدام سے صوبے بھر میں ڈاکٹرز اور دیگر طبی عملے کے تحفظ کو یقینی بنانے میں مدد ملے گی اور انہیں محفوظ ماحول میں خدمات انجام دینے کا موقع ملے گا۔

PDA نے اس معاملے کو ابتدا سے ہی بھرپور طریقے سے اٹھایا اور مسلسل محکمہ صحت، پارلیمنٹ اور قانون نافذ کرنے والے اداروں کے ساتھ اس کی پیروی کی۔ یہ پیش رفت انہی مسلسل کوششوں کا نتیجہ ہے۔

ہم وزیر صحت جناب خلیق الرحمان اور سیکرٹری صحت جناب شاہد اللہ خان کا خصوصی شکریہ ادا کرتے ہیں جنہوں نے اس اہم معاملے کو آگے بڑھایا اور طبی عملے کے تحفظ کے لیے سنجیدہ اقدامات کیے۔

ہم اس عزم کا اعادہ کرتے ہیں کہ PDA اس عمل کو اس کے مکمل نفاذ تک فالو کرتی رہے گی اور تمام متعلقہ اداروں کے ساتھ مل کر اس بات کو یقینی بنائے گی کہ یہ قواعد مؤثر انداز میں نافذ ہوں۔

ڈاکٹرز اور طبی عملے کا تحفظ معیاری علاج معالجہ کی فراہمی کے لیے ناگزیر ہے، اور PDA طبی برادری کے وقار، تحفظ اور حقوق کے لیے اپنی جدوجہد جاری رکھے گی۔

The Provincial Doctors Association (PDA) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa welcomes the recent initiative by the Health Department regarding the formulation of rules under the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Healthcare Service Providers and Facilities (Prevention of Violence and Damage to Property) Act, 2020.

This marks a significant and long-awaited step toward safeguarding the medical community and ensuring a secure working environment for healthcare professionals across the province.

The PDA has consistently advocated for the protection of doctors and healthcare staff. From the very beginning, the Association has actively pursued this matter at multiple levels, including the Health Department, Parliament, and law enforcement authorities. This progress reflects sustained efforts and commitment toward achieving a safer healthcare system.

We also extend our sincere appreciation to Health Minister Mr. Khaleeq Ur Rehman and Health Secretary Mr. Shahid Ullah Khan for taking this important matter forward and demonstrating their commitment to the safety and protection of healthcare workers.

We reaffirm our dedication to this cause and will continue to engage with all relevant stakeholders to ensure that these rules are not only formulated effectively but also implemented in letter and spirit.

The protection of healthcare workers is essential for the delivery of quality patient care, and PDA remains steadfast in its mission to uphold the dignity, safety, and rights of the medical community.
