organized Table Top Simulation Exercise on Anticipatory Actions for Drought in with support of FAO Pakistan at PDMA office Quetta. Mr. Asghar Ali Jamali, Deputy Director PDMA Balochistan chaired a landmark Table top simulation exercise on Anticipatory Actions for Drought in District . This initiative was the first of its kind in Balochistan brought together officials from relevant line departments, humanitarian partners, and UN agencies to collaboratively develop and respond to a real time drought scenario, the exercise aimed to evaluate early action mechanisms strengthen preparedness and enhance inter agency coordination for effective drought response.The simulation exercise was as an advance provincial understanding of anticipatory action and disaster risk reduction. During the session Mr. Asghar Ali Jamali emphasized the importance of replicating such exercises at the DDMA level to further improve district coordination preparedness and timely response to drought emergencies particularly in vulnerable areas like .
