For the last couple of weeks, I’ve been working on my illustrations for Your Creative Gold course. I’ve taken many art classes in the past, but this one is by far the most transformative I’ve experienced. It has already changed how I approach building my portfolio and making art in general. It has liberated me from a lot of „shoulds” and encouraged me to experiment and explore my passions. I only scratched the surface, and I’m excited at the thought of how much creative gold is still waiting for me to uncover - in this course and within me 😉

I'm also excited to share it was chosen as a Staff Pick by the Skillshare curation team (yay, thank you!), so you can be sure it's packed with a lot of good stuff 😉This time I'll show you how to draw flowers without feeling overwhelmed by using pressed plants as a reference and how to create a beautiful botanical cloche illustration!

What you will learn:
🌼We'll start by finding inspiration in the world of pressed flowers and learning to observe and simplify complex shapes.
🌼 I’ll invite you to my doodle herbarium, full of sketches inspired by pressed plants, and then we’ll practice drawing together.
🌼We’ll finish by creating a beautiful botanical illustration using our herbarium as a reference.
🌼As a bonus, I'll show you how to create a lovely mixed-media composition, combining real and sketched flowers in one piece!
