• PL • Tym razem zbliżenie na przecięcia oświetlone od drugiej strony (na dowód, że nie są one namalowane 😉). Ten obraz jest dla mnie też pewnym symbolem walki kobiet, również w świecie sztuki. W tym kontekście ciekawą analogią jest podobieństwo nazwisk dawnej malarki i autora słynnych przecięć. Sygnaturą „L. Fontana” jak zwykł się podpisywać Lucio, jednocześnie mogłaby się podpisywać wybitna artystka okresu manieryzmu – Lavinia Fontana. Była ona jedną z pierwszych kobiet, która osiągnęła spory sukces w dziedzinie sztuki. Jednak dziś twórczość Fontany kojarzy się przede wszystkim z pociętymi obrazami współczesnego artysty.
Tytuł „Dżoana Fontana” natomiast wskazuje na to, w jaki sposób współczesna kultura kreuje postać kobiety i jakie są jej wzorce.
