Today marks the close of the Meeting of the PRECIOUS HORIZON project in Delft — a Horizon Europe initiative working to prevent food loss and waste across the supply chain through innovative tools, impact assessments, and multi-actor collaboration.
As part of PRECIOUS, Unimos serves as the Polish Co-Creation and Replication Node ( ) — a local hub connecting the project with regional stakeholders to identify needs, test solutions, and explore how food loss and waste prevention approaches can be adapted to local contexts.
This morning, our colleague Julia Zabrzeska had the opportunity to share an update on our CRN progress with the wider consortium, alongside colleagues from Hungary and Lithuania — a great moment to reflect on what has been achieved so far and align on the road ahead.
A big thank you to the organisers for hosting such a well-structured event, and to all project partners for the open exchange and constructive discussions. Two energising days with people genuinely committed to making a difference.

Last week, we had the pleasure of attending the SICUR 2026 Brokerage Event – Cluster 3 in , where we connected with innovators and leaders shaping the future of security and defence in Europe.
Our goal was clear:
🤝 Forge new partnerships
🌍 Strengthen collaboration between Poland, Spain, and other EU countries
🚀 Explore opportunities within Horizon Europe that push forward safer, smarter, and more resilient societies.
Events like this remind us of the power of coming together, combining knowledge, experience, and ambition to create solutions that matter.
Excited for the new possibilities ahead and the projects we will build together!

Over the past two days, Unimos participated in the Rosetta Project EU Meeting in , bringing together project partners for two intensive and highly productive days of collaboration and exchange. Unimos was represented by Katarzyna Kowalska and Julia Zabrzeska.
The first day focused on internal project work, including progress across work packages, alignment on next steps, and in-depth discussions on the deployment and validation of pilots across ROSETTA use cases.
The second day was dedicated to the ROSETTA International Event, which gathered a diverse group of international experts, practitioners, and stakeholders working on food waste reduction and alternative market access for suboptimal but safe food. The event featured a strong line-up of speakers and provided an excellent platform for sharing lessons learned, practical insights, and perspectives from across Europe.
During the event, Julia Zabrzeska presented the Polish pilot, focusing on the utilisation of feed-grade as an innovative, protein-rich food source for human consumption. The presentation highlighted integrated technological, social, and behavioural insights, key results from the pilot activities, and lessons learned related to stakeholder engagement, product performance, and consumer acceptance.
We would like to sincerely thank PEDAL Consulting for the excellent organisation of both the project meeting and the international networking event, as well as all ROSETTA partners and speakers for the valuable discussions, constructive feedback, and inspiring exchanges.
