Beata Filipowicz (b. 1992, Poland) is a visual artist who expresses herself artistically through printmaking, painting. She currently lives and works in Wroclaw. Now employed as an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Graphic Arts and Media at the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Art and Design in Wrocław, where she received her MA in Printmaking (2017) at prof. Przemysław Tyszkiewicz’s Intaglio Studio. Besides her solo presentations in Poland, she participated in various group exhibitions abroad including: IMPACT 10, Santander, Spain (2018), Zureta – The Misprint, at the Chinretsukan Gallery, Tokyo (2017); 6th Guanlan International Print Biennal in China (2017);

Currently, my artistic practice is a synthesis of painting, printmaking and experimental paper sculpture-like objects. My creative process is guided by intuition where imagination, coincidence and automatic drawing, play an important role. The final form of print is open to the imagination and interpretation of the viewer. In my works I express great admiration for the structure of the world, explore phenomenon of life from universal and personal perspective - Buddhist thought with phenomenological problems, mind and body - nature and the universe, on a micro and macro scale. My printmaking practice and materials act as poetic metaphors for philosophical idea of constant transformation.

Beata Filipowicz (‘92, , Polska). Tworzy w dziedzinie malarstwa i grafiki artystycznej, a także ilustracji. Absolwentka grafiki na Akademii Sztuk Pięknych im. Eugeniusza Gepperta we Wrocławiu, w pracowni Intaglio, pod kierunkiem prof. Przemysława Tyszkiewicza i as. Agaty Gertchen oraz w Pracowni Ilustracji pod kierunkiem ad. dr Tomasza Brody. W 2015 była finalistką 14 edycji konkursu Artystycznej Podróży Hestii. Uczestniczyła w wystawach grupowych w Polsce i za granicą, m.in.: 6 Międzynarodowe Biennale Grafiki, Guanlan, Chiny (2017); Zureta – The Misprint, Tokijski Uniwersytet Sztuki, Japonia, Azja (2017); „Młodzi w Muzeum. Poziom najwyższy”, Muzeum Narodowe we Wrocławiu (2016); ‘After Eden’, LATARKA Art Gallery, Budapeszt, Węgry (2016). Najlepszy Dyplom Roku 2017, Galeria BWA Awangarda, Wrocław 2017.
