For years, the AD200 Pro has been one of those rare pieces of gear that simply earns a permanent spot in your bag.

I’ve used it for weddings, luxury proposals, editorial portraits, and commercial work, and it has never let me down.

So when announced the AD200 Pro II, I wasn’t expecting a revolution...I was expecting refinement.

And honestly? They delivered.

The new bi-color modeling lamp is far more practical in the field, the redesigned interface feels quicker and more intuitive, the RGB group indicators are a small but brilliant quality-of-life improvement when working with multiple lights, thermal performance has been refined for demanding shoots, and integration with the latest Godox ecosystem (especially the X3 trigger) makes the whole experience feel even more seamless.

What I appreciate most is that Godox didn’t reinvent a product that photographers already loved.

They listened to working professionals and made meaningful upgrades that actually improve day-to-day workflow.

If you’re a wedding photographer, portrait photographer, or anyone who relies on off-camera flash, the AD200 Pro II deserves a serious look.

Have you made the upgrade yet, or are you still rocking the original AD200 Pro?

I’d love to hear your thoughts below. ⚡📸

Some love stories begin with fireworks.

Others begin with friendship.

Anderson and Kelly first met through a church fellowship while attending UC Berkeley.

Although they crossed paths often, it wasn’t until years later that simple conversations evolved into something much deeper.

Built on faith, friendship, and genuine connection, their relationship quickly became rooted in intentionality.

Before leaving on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic, Anderson knew he couldn’t leave without telling Kelly how he felt.

He took a leap of faith, asked her out, and what followed was a relationship strengthened by trust, distance, and a commitment to choosing each other every day.

Over the years, their love story spanned multiple cities.

Anderson began his career in Chicago while Kelly finished her studies at Berkeley before moving to New York to pursue her master’s degree at Columbia Teachers College.

Through every season of long distance, they continued showing up for one another, proving that love is often found in consistency, sacrifice, and effort.

When the time came to propose, Anderson wanted every detail to reflect their journey.

Partnering with and the incredible team , he planned a romantic destination proposal inspired by Kelly’s love for Spanish and Latin American culture and their shared dream of visiting the Caribbean together.

Set against the beautiful coastline of Puerto Rico, this proposal was more than a surprise engagement.

It was the beginning of a new chapter built on faith, devotion, and the quiet decision to keep choosing one another every single day.

As a Puerto Rico proposal photographer, stories like theirs remind me that the strongest relationships aren’t built through grand gestures alone, but through showing up for the person you love again and again.
