Dear Friends and Followers:

I just wanted to let you know that my YouTube channel won't display advertisements or engage in monetization that interrupts the viewing experience. This decision reflects a commitment to uninterrupted, high-quality music education content.

Educational research shows that interruptions and extraneous stimuli negatively affect attention, working memory, and learning outcomes. Experimental studies demonstrate that interruptions degrade task performance and increase cognitive workload, thereby impairing the ability to sustain attention and process information effectively (Altmann & Trafton, 2004; Zickerick et al., 2020). Frequent interruptions in instructional settings also disrupt the continuity of teaching and learning, reducing instructional time and inhibiting deep cognitive engagement (Kraft & Monti-Nussbaum, 2021). These findings align with cognitive load theory, which indicates that extraneous cognitive demands hinder learners’ ability to encode and retain information (Gkintoni, 2025).

Given these insights from cognitive psychology and education research, I have chosen to provide content free of advertisements that could distract from the core learning experience. Thank you for your support of uninterrupted educational engagement.

If you haven't subscribed to my YouTube channel, I want to invite you to do so by visiting: https://www.youtube.com/

All the best,
Dr. Jose M Rosa, Ed.D.
