Last year, I was chosen to illustrate the cover for ’ ‘This is Why They Hate Us”. Being bi and Latino myself, this was such an honor. This project came to my life at a perfect moment, as I was being judged and shamed for being bi by the person I dated at the time. Now, I get to look at this image and feel pride over it.
