How to start with design 🔥 .
A lot of people have been asking me recently how to make a switch into design industry. Here are my tips.
1️⃣ Learn the basics

Get started with the theory and ramp up your general design knowledge. You might take a course on Udemy or read some books. A few books to mention: - Don't make me think - Designing for the digital age - Lean UX.
2️⃣ Get your hands dirty

Start with small things and gradually progress further. Try to recreate popular designs of the apps that you are using. Get familiar with the tools. See some YouTube tutorials. All you have to do is start. .
3️⃣ Get feedback

It's crucial to get the feedback on your designs from more senior designers. You have to develop your sense of good design and fix issues with your works. Ask a colleague or find a mentor who would guide you through the beautiful world of design. .
