At some point, the question stops being what job do I want next.

It becomes what problem am I built to solve.

That is not a career crisis. That is a career upgrade.

Nicky Verd posted this over a year ago. I still come back to it.

"This moment in history is better because you're part of it."

I don't have words for that. Honestly.

She wrote about sitting in rooms where something shifts. Not just as a fellow speaker, but as a thinker and a human. She talked about following the work for years, listening at events, and feeling something move each time.

That's the whole point. That's why I do this. Not the stages or the accolades. The people. The ones who take something away and then take the time to say so.

Nicky calls it giving people their flowers while they're here. I love that.

If you want that kind of shift in the room at your next event or workshop, drop me a message. I'd love to chat.

That world is gone.

We are now asking a system designed for one year of post-work life to carry twenty-five or thirty. And most organisations are still treating 50+ as an exit, not an opportunity.

That is the elephant in the room.
