Shane and his wife chose to discover the Douro Valley with , and I had the privilege of joining them to document their journey through one of the most beautiful wine regions in the world.

My goal wasn’t to create perfect poses—it was to preserve real moments.

The laughter during the wine tasting, the quiet conversations between the vineyards, the spontaneous kisses, the walks through the historic villages, and the way they looked at each other when they forgot the camera was even there.

That’s what documentary portrait photography is all about.

These aren’t just travel photos. They’re memories of a day they’ll never experience the same way again.
