Vakrasana (Twisted Pose)
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ How to do a twisted pose?
๐๐ปStart by sitting on a yoga mat with your legs extended in front of you.
๐๐ปBend your right knee and place your right foot on the ground, keeping it flat.
๐๐ปTake your left arm and bring it over your right knee, placing your left hand on the ground or holding your right foot.
๐๐ปInhale deeply and lengthen your spine, sitting up tall.
๐๐ปAs you exhale, gently twist your torso to the right, looking over your right shoulder.
๐๐ปKeep your left hand on the ground or right foot for support, and place your right hand behind you on the ground, fingertips pointing away from your body. You can also keep your hand on knee.
๐๐ปHold the twisted pose for a few breaths, maintaining a comfortable twist and feeling the stretch along your spine.
๐๐ปTo come out of the pose, inhale and slowly release the twist, returning to the center with a straight spine.
๐๐ปStraighten your right leg and repeat the same steps on the other side, bending your left knee and twisting to the left.
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ Avoid any strain or pain during the twisted pose practice.
๐๐ปโโ๏ธ If someone has a spondylitis issue, vakrasana should be avoided.
