As a General Manager, I've seen firsthand that the single biggest differentiator between a good company and a great one isn't the technology we use or the products we sell—it's the people who walk through the door every morning.

We often focus too heavily on a candidate's past achievements. While experience matters, I now prioritize three factors that indicate a strong future trajectory:
