Today, we received an inquiry for a small batch of customized mugs.
As part of our commitment to transparent and reliable customer service, we asked for the design files and the required completion date so we could properly assess the project and provide accurate recommendations.

The customer sent seven screenshot mock-ups collected from the internet. Unfortunately, the images were in very low resolution, with overlapping elements and details that would not translate well into print.

After reviewing the files, we explained that printing directly from the images would likely result in poor-quality output. Instead, we offered to recreate the designs as closely as possible to achieve a cleaner and more professional result.

At Pixeldots Prints, we believe that setting proper expectations is an important part of the service. We would rather be honest about potential limitations than produce an item that does not meet the customer's expectations.

The customer questioned why the designs could not simply be copied and pointed out that other customization businesses appeared to offer similar services.

We completely understand that not everyone is familiar with the technical side of printing. That's why we took the time to explain the process further and clarify how image quality directly affects the final product.

We're sharing this experience not to criticize or invalidate anyone's concerns, but to raise awareness about what happens behind the scenes of customized printing.
